James M. Harper, PLS
James began his surveying career with BRH in 1998. He has held a State of Washington Professional Land Surveyor license since 2008.
James started surveying as a chainman and instrument man, enjoying 10 years of field work as a crew chief before transitioning to the office and gaining his professional license.
His field experience includes all aspects of boundary determination and mapping work, as well as commercial construction and high rise building layouts.
James draws from his extensive field background and expertise to ensure that field crews and office technicians working on his projects are well supported right through to the delivery phase. He also makes a point to ensure that current technologies are seamlessly blended with a respect for traditional standards and techniques.
“My wife Danielle and I keep busy raising our two sons and being involved in their activities. An example is our support for local youth soccer and basketball teams. We also enjoy gardening, touring the northwest by motorcycle, and taking in live music shows.
