South Lake Union Streetcar

The $47.5M South Lake Union Streetcar project will construct a modern streetcar system between Westlake Center and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center on Fairview Avenue. The system plans to run 7 days a week, 15 hours per day, with service every 15 minutes. BRH has provided a comprehensive route survey for the entire project.

Peace Arch on I-5

The I-5 border crossing between the USA and Canada is being redesigned and reconfigured. BRH provided a comprehensive survey and coordinated with six government agencies to ensure that safety and security issues were handled during the project. Boundary, right-of-way and control surveys, as well as all mapping, were performed by GPS. Ground surveys and high accuracy aerial mapping were merged, and both U.S. and metric values are expressed on the drawings.

Port Angeles Federal Building

BRH is providing civil engineering services for this design/build project. Part of the scope will be to solve drainage problems by providing a new design for the parking areas.

Cristalla

Built in 1915, the Crystal Pool Natatorium was one of the most popular gathering spots in Seattle. This new 23-story mixed use building preserved portions of the original facade. BRH provided on and off-site engineering, surveying and construction surveying. Our 3-D laser scanning survey of the historic facade allowed for detailed dimensioning of penetrations for architectural refurbishment and restoration.
