Steve M. Adermann, PLS
Steve Adermann – a BRH employee with over 40 years’ experience – passed away on November 3rd 2017.
Steve started his survey career in 1976, joining BRH in 1989. He advanced from field surveyor, to crew chief to project manager and ultimately, construction survey manager. He gained his professional land survey license with the State of Washington in 2001.
While Steve provided project field coordination, data collection and processing expertise for BRH construction survey projects, he will be best remembered for the relationships he built with his clients. Well known in the construction industry as an honest, straight-forward and talented surveyor, building contractors knew that they could rely on him to go out of his way to get his work done on time, with results that could be trusted.
Steve was born in Vandalia, Illinois, joining the U.S. Army in the early 1970s, and stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, growing vegetables, and spending time with his friends and family.
Sue C. Chandler
Accounts Receivable Manager
My BRH adventure started in October 1987. Since then I have held various roles such as receptionist, typist, proof reader, filing clerk, archivist, marketing specialist, and survey accounts receivable.
I enjoy working in a family atmosphere and that is what it is like at BRH. My fellow employees are some of the best people I have worked with and for that reason I look forward to coming to work every day. It’s great to be in a team environment where everyone works together and we all strive to come up with a solution together. Teamwork and an awesome environment is why I enjoy working at BRH!
"In my opinion we live in one of the most beautiful states in the US. For the past several years I have been hiking the various trails Washington has to offer. I absolutely love being in the mountains. I also enjoy fishing for salmon and steelhead. My favorite type of fishing on our various rivers is from a drift boat — nothing like a tug on your line to get your heart pumping a little faster. I also enjoy watching our Seahawks, Mariners and trying new restaurants."
